3 Min Read

Radaro’s focus is to digitise your last mile and ensure you maximise the benefits of a streamlined process. One of the core features of Radaro is the digital Proof of Delivery (POD), a capability that always generates excitement for new clients.

The full digital POD process is comprised of:

  • Job Success Escalation Codes – customised to your business needs

  • Free text comments – Drivers/Technicians can add general notes regarding the job

  • Photo and Signature requirements – configurable to ensure proper documentation

Customising your POD process

How many photos do you need a Driver/Technician to capture to complete the job?

Are signatures mandatory for your operations?

Every organisation, with its unique product profile and operational requirements, has different needs for POD documentation. Radaro offers flexibility to match these diverse workflows.

Radaro provides several customisable options for ensuring that drivers and service technicians capture mandatory information at the point of job completion:

  • Either Signature or Photo required

  • Photo required / Signature optional

  • Signature required/ Photo optional

  • Signature & Photo required

This flexibility ensures you can tailor the POD process to align with your exact business requirements.

In addition to the basic photo requirement, you can also set a minimum number of photos that must be captured. This feature can greatly aid your customer service teams in resolving disputes and providing clarity when questions arise about a delivery or service visit.

“Increasing the quota of photos taken at time of delivery, allow teams to take a picture of every angle of our product. When customers make claims around damage, we can dispute them, providing clear photos of the whole product at the time of delivery.

This has resulted in reduced service calls and claims against us, as we can provide hard evidence that we did not deliver a damaged product.”

– George, Nick Scali Furniture

Why would multiple photos be necessary?

Minimise Damage Disputes

In industries like furniture, white goods, and installation services, false damage claims are a potential concern.

To avoid such issues, drivers are asked to capture clear photos of the delivered goods from all angles, presenting evidence that there is no damage at the point of delivery.

This is equally important in B2B operations, where deliveries may be left in designated areas and later moved by other parties, potentially resulting in damage.

Documenting the state of the product at the time of delivery helps to resolve such disputes promptly and efficiently.

ATL Deliveries

High-volume consumer products are often delivered via an Authority to Leave (ATL) process.

To assist dispute resolution, Drivers will be required to take at least 3 photos –

  • Where the item was left

  • The front door

  • The letterbox or front view of house

This 3 photo minimum is designed to validate the goods were left at the correct address.

Customers can also be notified at the point of delivery, showing where goods have been left.

Radaro’s digital POD solution is designed to make your delivery process more transparent and accountable. With customisable photo and signature requirements, you can ensure that your organisation captures the necessary evidence to resolve any potential disputes and increase customer experience.
