Introducing Grouped Jobs (Job Concatenation)
Published: Jan 31, 2024
2 Min Read
Many businesses regularly deliver or complete multiple jobs for the same customer, at the same address, on the same day.
Without the right tools, these jobs can be allocated separately, creating unnecessary complexity for planners, drivers, and customer support teams.
That’s where Radaro Job Concatenation comes in.
What is Job Concatenation?
Job Concatenation automatically identifies jobs that share:
The same customer.
The same address.
The same service day.

When these criteria are met, Radaro intelligently groups the individual jobs together into a single Grouped Job.
This allows dispatchers and planners to allocate one grouped job to a driver or service technician, reducing administration and simplifying route planning.
The best of both worlds
While jobs are grouped together operationally, each individual job remains fully accessible within the Grouped Job.
This means field teams can:
View all individual job details and descriptions.
Complete jobs. independently if different outcomes apply.
Fail or cancel a single job without impacting the others.
Apply different success codes to individual jobs when required.

From a management and customer support perspective, nothing is lost. Teams can still search for jobs using:
Customer name.
Customer address.
Individual job reference number.
Reporting also remains at the individual job level, ensuring complete visibility and accurate operational reporting.
Why it matters
Job Concatenation helps organisations:
Reduce planning and allocation effort.
Improve route and schedule efficiency.
Minimise duplicate site visits
Simplify workflows for field teams.
Maintain accurate reporting and job-level visibility.

The result is a more streamlined operation, better resource utilisation, and a smoother experience for both your teams and your customers.
