Security Feature Highlight: Radaro Driver App 2FA

2 Min Read

At Radaro, the safety and security of our customers personal and operational data is a top priority, and that is why we provide the optional feature of 2FA for use with the Radaro Driver App.

What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication is a security process that requires users to provide different forms of identification before they can access their account. This is in addition to the standard username and password.

For Radaro customers, 2FA means that even if someone manages to obtain the credentials for the Driver App, they won’t be able to access the account without the second form of verification, making it significantly harder for malicious actors to gain unauthorised access to your data.

Why 2FA Matters for the Radaro Driver App

Drivers and Technicians receive a significant level of customer personal data and it is important that this data is treated with respect.

Even if your password is compromised, the second layer of protection provided by 2FA will prevent unauthorised access, ensuring that your data remains safe.

Benefits of 2FA

  • Enhanced Security: By requiring a second form of authentication we make it exponentially harder for hackers to access your account.

  • Peace of Mind: With 2FA, you can rest easy knowing that your personal and customer data is more secure.

How 2FA Works in the Radaro Driver App

Once the 2FA feature is activated on your Radaro Driver App:

1) Login with your username and password: Just like you normally would when accessing your Radaro account.

2) Receive a second authentication request: After entering

your credentials, you will receive a verification code via SMS.

3) Enter the verification code to access your account.

This additional step helps protect your account from phishing attacks, brute-force password cracking, and other forms of cybercrime.
